Welcome to Admisio ("Admisio," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Admisio website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). The “Service” does not include individual counseling services, which are contracted and billed separately. Those who access or or otherwise use the Service (“Service Users” or “You”) regardless of their capacity as students, counselors, parents or guardians of students, or the general public, agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Further use of the service will be granted when the box is checked below confirming that you accept these Terms of Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization or as a counselor, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
The Service is intended primarily for students, but members of the general public may also register.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Admisio provides a software platform that allows users to:
Admisio is not a college or educational institution and does not make admissions decisions. Counseling services, where offered, are provided separately from the Service and are not paid for through the Service.
You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating an account. Because academic records such as transcripts may be uploaded or referenced, real names are required for internal records.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
The Service uses artificial intelligence technologies, including third-party APIs such as OpenAI and Claude, to support features including:
AI-generated outputs are provided for informational and assistive purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, or admissions advice. You remain responsible for all decisions made based on information provided through the Service.
You agree not to:
Admisio reserves the right to investigate violations and suspend or terminate accounts as described below.
All software, designs, text, graphics, and other materials provided by Admisio are owned by Admisio, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of your personal data and academic information. You may download or export your data, including formatted materials such as checklists or "brag sheets," for your personal use.
The core Admisio platform is currently offered free of charge.
Certain counseling services may require payment, but payments are handled outside of the Service directly with counselors. If payments are introduced in the future, additional terms will apply.
IMPORTANT: THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT GOVERN THE RELATIONSHIP, AGREEMENT BETWEEN OR TERMS OF SERVICE BETWEEN CONSELORS AND STUDENTS. EACH COUNSELOR HAS THEIR OWN AGREEMENT THAT THEY EXECUTE WITH THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN OF THE STUDENT (IF THE STUDENT IS UNDER 18).
Refunds for paid services, where applicable, may be issued if a customer is not satisfied, subject to the applicable counselor’s policies. Admisio is not made aware of these policies and has no part in the agreements between students and counselors.
Indemnification
Service User shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Admisio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to Service User’s use of the Service. The indemnified Party shall: (a) promptly notify the indemnifying Party in writing of any claim; (b) permit the indemnifying Party to control the defense and settlement of the claim (provided any settlement fully releases the indemnified Party and does not impose non‑monetary obligations without consent); and (c) reasonably cooperate at the indemnifying Party’s expense.
Admisio may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:
You may delete your account at any time through the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." ADMISIO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
No Guarantee of Outcome. Admisio does not warrant or guarantee that use of the Service will allow for college admission at any college for the student. Admisio does not warrant or guarantee that the Service will be operational at all times and in the event of an outage affecting the Service, Admisio does not warrant or guarantee that the Service will be available at any future hour or date. Nothing in this Section is intended to disclaim any warranty that cannot be disclaimed under applicable California law.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADMISIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Independent Contractors. All Service Users and Admisio are independent contractors. Nothing in this Agreement creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, franchise, fiduciary, or employment relationship between Admisio and any person or entity..
No Authority to Bind. Neither Admisio nor any person or entity has authority to bind other parties or incur obligations on other Parties’ behalf, except as expressly set forth in this Agreement.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any respect, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Admisio and Service Users with respect to its subject matter and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, proposals, negotiations, or communications, whether oral or written, relating to the same subject matter.
It is agreed that any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be brought exclusively in the state courts of the State of California located in Orange County, California, or, if jurisdiction is proper, in the federal courts located in the Central District of California, Southern Division.
Each Service User and Admisio irrevocably submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection based on improper venue or inconvenient forum.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted in-app and will become effective as of the stated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
