(“Admisio,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards personal information of our customers who use Admisio’s platform and related services (the “Services”), Admisio’s customers are typically high school or college students looking to apply to colleges and universities. Customers include the legal parents or guardians of said high school students. This Privacy Policy explains the rights available to our customers who are California residents.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect about high school and college students in connection with their use of Admisio’s services. It does not apply to information collected in an employment context or to information that has been de‑identified or aggregated so that it is no longer reasonably capable of being associated with a particular consumer or household.

We may collect the following information when you register for or use the Service:

Name and contact information (email, phone number, ZIP code)
Date of birth
School and academic level
Academic records, including:
- Grades, GPAs, and class rankings
- Test scores (SAT, ACT)

- Academic evaluations and progress reports
- Teacher or counselor notes
Parent or guardian contact information (where applicable)

IV. Minors’ Privacy

Admisio allows users under the age of 18 to use the Service with appropriate parental or guardian consent.
Users under 13 are not permitted unless and until Admisio explicitly supports such use in compliance with COPPA.
Our Services are directed to high school and college students and are not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will delete it as required by applicable law.
If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete the information.

V. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

Provide and improve the Service
Generate personalized school recommendations
Create admissions checklists and guidance
Enable counselors to support students they work with
Maintain platform security and performance

VI. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Admisio uses third-party AI services, including OpenAI and Claude, to generate recommendations, tasks, coaching, and writing assistance.

User inputs may be processed by these providers solely to deliver Service functionality.
We do not use user data to train our own AI models.
To our knowledge, third-party AI providers used by Admisio do not use submitted data to train their models by default.

VII. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information.

We may share information only with:

Authorized counselors who work directly with a student
Service providers that support our operations (e.g., analytics, infrastructure)
Legal or regulatory authorities if required by law

Schools and academic institutions do not have access to student data through the Service at this time.

You have choices regarding how we collect and use personal information:

You may update or correct certain contact information for future orders by contacting us using the details below.
You may choose not to provide certain information; however, this may limit our ability to provide the Services. (for example, we cannot determine an appropriate college match without GPA information).
If we use your contact information for our own marketing communications (such as newsletters or product updates), you may opt‑out of such marketing at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in those communications or by contacting us directly.

IX. Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable physical, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized access, disclosure, or use. Access to sensitive information is limited to Admisio personnel and service providers with a business need to know and is subject to confidentiality obligations and appropriate safeguards. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest where appropriate.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, and then securely delete or de‑identify information as required or permitted by law. Specific retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and applicable laws.

Stripe is configured as a payment processor but is not currently used within the Service. If payments are enabled in the future, additional disclosures will apply.
